In Pokémon Ultra Moon, the first trial takes place on Akala Island and is led by Captain Ilima. Trainers must navigate through Lana’s trial on Lush Jungle, where they encounter various Pokémon types, including Grass, Bug, and Poison. Similar to other trials, the trainer must battle the trial captain, who uses a unique lineup of Pokémon. In Ultra Moon, Ilima uses a team consisting of a Normal-type Pokémon and a Rock-type Pokémon.
