Real-World Experience
I’ve had my Xbox Series X for a few months now, and one of the things I was most excited about was its support for 240Hz refresh rates. As a competitive gamer, high refresh rates are a must-have for keeping up with the action and making sure my in-game movements are as smooth and responsive as possible. So far, I’m very impressed with the Xbox Series X’s 240Hz support. I’ve been playing Call of Duty: Vanguard and Gears 5 at 240Hz, and the difference is night and day. The game is so much smoother and it’s easier to track enemies and land shots.
Everyday Use
While 240Hz is great for competitive gaming, it’s also a great feature for everyday use. The Xbox Series X’s dashboard and games all run at 240Hz, so everything feels incredibly fluid and responsive. Scrolling through menus and navigating the interface is so smooth, and it makes the Xbox Series X a real pleasure to use. Even non-gaming apps like streaming services and web browsers benefit from the high refresh rate, as scrolling and panning is much smoother than on other consoles. Overall, the Xbox Series X’s support for 240Hz is a great feature that makes gaming and everyday use more enjoyable.
